Halloween time!!

Hello everyone!
Well its fall...thank GOD! This is my favorite time of year! Although being in the south we dont see as much change in the trees as we did up in maryland/pennsylvania, but the weather is certainly more favorable! We have carved pumkins, roasted the seeds and have started baking "cold weather" food. Keeping the kids busy with arts and crafts and outside activities so we are always busy! Friday we will be heading to the base for some trick or treating, face painting, games and activities for the kids. ill put up pics as soon as possible!!! Landen is going to be spiderman and ella will be a ladybug...we are all set and ready to rock and roll! hope that everyone is doing well! Enjoy the pics! more will be up later! (the trick/treat pumpkin is mine...what do you think??)

Sorry it has been SOOOO long....things are very busy here at the Bane house. Its a full time job taking care of the kiddos and running the household all alone, but we get by and are staying busy! Lots of arts and craft, reading books, baking, playing and "hanging out" LOL! In the past couple weeks Landen and I have made special shirts for him, Daddy, Ella (hers was a onesie) and myself. It cooled off last week for a few days so Landen helped me make a lot of cold weather foods! Homemade stew, Clam chowder and we baked some Halloween cookies!

Ella's first teeth finally broke through the other day...both bottom ones are coming in at the same time, so shes been pretty fussy. Nothing I havent been through before though! The freezer is stocked with teething rings, and Im constantly washing wash clothes! Those seem to help more than anything. Landen has gotten his Halloween costume and has a hard time NOT wearing it everyday :) He is going to be spiderman, and he runs around the house yelling GO WEB GO! Very entertaining on my part! Nana had to buy Ellas costume cuz I wanted her to be a ladybug, but couldnt find it anywhere...so when we got the box from Nana today, we tried it on, and I have a little sewing to do, so I will be pretty busy the next day or so!

Nathan is doing great! Talk to him almost every night via webcam. He's so glad that he can see the kids when we talk. It certainly makes things a lot easier on him. He has been doing some shopping in local shops where he is stationed, and has picked up some very cool things. I cant wait to show you all them when he gets home! Very excited!

We will be going to Arizona November 18th, and staying until January 13th. I cant wait for all the family to see the newest addition, and for some of you to finally meet both kids! Landen is especially excited! He wakes up every day asking when we are going to Nana and Papas to see allllll the family!

Well I hope everyone is hanging in there! The holidays are just around the corner and I cant wait!

PS...good family friends of Nathan and I just had their 3rd baby girl 10-14-2009 Mary! Congrats guys!! Cant wait to meet her!!

Sunday at the Beach!!!

Today I took the kids to the beach for a little bit. It was so windy that we had to tuck the front end of Ella's hat under, so that it wouldn't blow off of her head! But she still looked so cute. A storm came in so we had to leave earlier than we wanted. But the kids still had fun. If tomorrows weather is clear, we may be heading back! Happy September!

Well, September is finally here! Nathan is doing good in Afghanistan and sends all his love to everyone! The kids and I have been trying to stay busy. Landen and I are doing a lot of coloring, and arts and crafts and he's drawing a LOT of pictures for Daddy. Ella is getting so big. she's crawling all over the place and is getting into everything. She is pulling herself up on every piece of furniture she can reach. She and Landen have so much fun together. I keep catching Landen sneaking into Ella's room when she first wakes up, and he climbs into her crib to play with her. As angry as it makes me, its sooo cute I cant help but smile. My two little love bugs!
Well, I'll keep everyone posted on how Nathan is doing. We love and miss you all so much! Please keep Nathan in your prayers!

1 week down!

Well hello everyone! Nathan is officially in Afghanistan. He arrived there about 10 hours ago and he says the weather is nice. He's doing really good though, and misses and loves everyone very much. Here are some more pictures of the kids. Things are good here in Mississippi. Finally starting to get a good routine down and the kids sure do help to keep me busy. Going outside for a walk now, but hope everyone is doing great. Hugs and Kisses from the kids and I!
