1 week down!

Well hello everyone! Nathan is officially in Afghanistan. He arrived there about 10 hours ago and he says the weather is nice. He's doing really good though, and misses and loves everyone very much. Here are some more pictures of the kids. Things are good here in Mississippi. Finally starting to get a good routine down and the kids sure do help to keep me busy. Going outside for a walk now, but hope everyone is doing great. Hugs and Kisses from the kids and I!

Hello

Well, today is the 5th day since Nathan has left. Hes been stuck in Kuwait all day yesterday and all day today. They dont know when they will arrive to Afghanistan but ill try to keep everyone updated!
Its been one thing after another here at home. Car battery died in one of the cars, the other car got a flat, and the tags expired. Both needed oil changes (which with no man around, was done by super mom!! LOL) Landen woke up monday in the middle of the night throwing up. The list goes on and on!
Other than that, the kids and I are hanging in there. We hope everyone else is doing good. Love and miss you all tons!

Another quick note before saturday

Hey everyone!
So its for sure as of This evening (Aug.12.09) Nathan is not leaving until the 15th. Some of you may have heard he might leave today (wed) but he didnt thank GOD!!! So, plans are still a go for this saturday. If for some reason any of you talk to him via phone or email i am INSTRUCTED by the CO to tell you to NOT ASK HIM WHERE HIS IS AT! Any sort of question along those lines could obstruct his mission, and we don't need that!!! LOL
I will post later what his contact info is: You wont always be able to get a response since he wont have much computer/letter writing time!
BUT
PLEASE keep him in your prayers...
He is my love, and a PHENOMENAL father, friend, husband, son, son-in-law, cousin...i could go on but it would take a while!!

Deployment

Nathan is leaving for Afghanistan Saturday, August 15th. Well, actually the kids and I are dropping him off at the base around 3:00 AM. Things are a little hectic and stressful around the house, but we are keeping positive thoughts about everthing!!
Please keep Nathan in your prayers. We are REALLY going to miss him while he's gone.
